Now the liquid refrigerant within the evaporator coil absorbs the heat from outside and finally becomes a gas. These warm gases in the coil then pass through the compressor. The compressor then starts functioning by increasing the heat and creating a very hot gas that passes mainly through the condenser.
The condenser now transfers the heat from the hot gas to the cooler pool water by circulating through the heater. The heated water then finally returns to the pool. The hot gas which emits and flows through the condenser coil now returns to the liquid form and back to the evaporator where the whole process commences again. Thus this is actually how a swimming pool heat pumps work.
The high efficiency the pool pumps the more efficiently they will work. Basically the size of heat pool pumps depends upon many factors. Firstly the heater is sized according to the surface area of the pool. Besides this other factors such as wind exposure, humidity levels, and cool night temperatures also play a significant role in this point.
Hence the pools that are located in area where there is high average wind speeds, lower humidity and cool nights will comparatively require a larger heater. There is a formula that must be kept in mind while calculating an approximate heater size for an outdoor swimming pool. It is generally calculated by Pool area x Temperature Rise x 12.By using this formula one can quite easily calculate the size of a heater required in a swimming pool.
It has been observed that if the swimming pool heat pumps undergo proper maintenance and installation then it can give good service. Thus it is better to get installed by a qualified and professional heater especially in the case of electric hook up and maintenance and repair tasks. A good quality product will definitely give good performance.
